Congress News

WCPT Congress News is a daily newspaper which was produced every day of the WCPT Congress in Amsterdam, providing delegates with up to the minute reports of sessions, previews, and news of what's going on in and around the conference centre.

Now the congress is over, the three issues provide a record of some of the highlights of congress both for those who were there, and for those who couldn’t make it. You can download all the issues here, either as a high quality web magazine, or as lower resolution pdfs which are better suited for slower internet connections.

I was one of those whose abstract was published on the 15th July, 2011 but I have been having a challenge to access proof of publication despite having received a feedback message that the publication was successful.

Power points of presentations

HI, I the conference several speakers mentioned that their presentations will be available after the conference at the conference website. Where do I find the presentations? Specially , I am interested in looking once again the presentations from the ICF symposium organised by Alan Jette.

Delegate numbers

We had 5274 delegates at congress.  Needless to say the majority came from the Netherlands, followed by the UK.  Outside of Europe most delegates came from the USA and Japan.

We didn't produce a book of abstracts, but all delegates received a CD of abstracts.  The abstracts will be online later this month, along with PDFs of the posters and PowerPoints where we have received permission to publish them.

Hi Jessica.  I can confirm that we have nearly 5000 delegates attending World Physical Therapy 2011, representing over 115 countries!  It promises to be a great event.
