Centre for Evidence-Based Physiotherapy - PEDro
The
Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) was launched in October 1999
to support an evidence-based approach to the teaching and practice of physiotherapy.
It is a free, internet-based resource developed and maintained by the Centre
for Evidence-Based Physiotherapy . PEDro contains bibliographic details
and author abstracts of over 350 systematic reviews and 2,400 randomised controlled
trials in physiotherapy. To assist users of PEDro to interpret the results
of research, randomised controlled trials on the database are rated for methodological
quality using the PEDro scale.
