The WCPT Secretariat, led by the WCPT Chief Executive Officer, is a team of full- and part-time workers employed by WCPT to implement the decisions made at the WCPT General Meeting and act on the direction of the WCPT Executive Board.
Chief Executive Officer
Jonathon Kruger is responsible for management and administration of the WCPT. He is responsible for the implementation of the strategic plan to ensure that WCPT achieves its objectives as determined by the Executive Board and member organisations.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Tracy Bury leads on policy development and implementation covering practice, education, professional and social issues. She is the main contact for WCPT subgroups and networks. She also leads on all aspects of planning and delivering the WCPT Congress.
Head of Finance
Tony Cheeseman is responsible for the financial management and administration of the WCPT. He provides financial guidance and support to the Secretariat and relevant committees, to ensure good levels of governance and statutory compliance.
Business Support Officer
Aisha is responsible for assisting the smooth running of WCPT and managing the work for the CEO, President and Board and key committees. She provides coordination, leadership and administrative support to a variety of projects and activities related to the operation of the organisation and the services provided.
Accounts and Finance Officer
Titi provides support for financial matters relating to WCPT and its congress.
Héðinn is responsible for providing advice to WCPT staff, Board, members and external stakeholders on a range of professional matters relating to physical therapy education and practice. He is responsible for developing and managing a number of projects in line with WCPT’s strategic plan. These include the WCPT Accreditation service, Country profile data collection and database of volunteers and experts.
Natasha leads on project planning for the WCPT Congress and related events. This includes managing venue logistics, ceremonies and exhibition services.
Communications and Office Manager
Mia is responsible for general communications including WCPT E-Update, social media and World Physical Therapy Day. She manages the marketing plan for the WCPT Congress.
Website and IT
Dan is responsible for website development, database management and provides information technology support for the WCPT Secretariat. www.rivermede.co.uk
Project Manager and Membership Coordinator
Rachel is responsible for the WCPT website, information technology and membership, as well as logistics to support the WCPT Congress scientific programme.
Birgit is supporting the WCPT Congress Programme Committee (CPC) in developing the scientific programme for WCPT Congress. She also works on policy projects and is the WCPT secretariat link to the Governance Review Expert Working Group.
