Human Movement Laboratory (CV-37)

The Human Movement Analysis unit at Stellenbosch University will present a laboratory demonstration of cutting-edge wireless sensor technology (inertial motion capture and surface electromyography) and how these can be utilized by clinicians to facilitate real-time biofeedback during treatment sessions. The visit will begin with a 15min presentation covering the equipment capabilities and the typical workflow during test procedures. This will be followed by a live demonstration of how we assess a patient using the system while they perform different functional movements. The practical session will be structured in an open-ended fashion and participation from the delegates is welcomed.
