WCPT professional seminar: Advanced practice (WCPT-01) - Invitation only

Description

Changing health service environments and expectations of people and populations require a flexible and competent physical therapist workforce. How are WCPT member organisations meeting these challenges? What are the regulatory models that enable advanced or extended scopes of practice? What works, for whom and under what circumstances. Participants in this invitation only session will discuss key issues related to advanced scope of practice in order to contribute to thought leadership in the field. The possibility for reaching consensus on matters such as title, competencies, descriptions of roles may also be explored. In addition, potential constraints and risks will be considered and the participation will identify the people needed to take further work forward.

Format

This seminar will be a mixture of stimulus presentations and table discussions with plenary feedback.
