World Physical Therapy Day 2009 activities - Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Physiotherapy Association (BPA) celebrated World Physical Therapy Day on 8th September with all national physiotherapy institutes taking part in a rally organised by the association. Coverage of the rally was broadcast by several TV channels throughout the day.

Bangladesh Television broadcast a specific programme to mark the day, which included interviews with the President and Secretary General of the BPA. Special features were additionally shown demonstrating the effectiveness of physical therapy.
