World Physical Therapy Day 2009 activities - Ethiopia

The Ethiopian Physiotherapists Association celebrated World Physical Therapy day via its annual conference which took place from 6th to 11th September.

During the conference the association’s new executive committee were elected and several presentations were made, including one on ‘Creating Awareness of Physiotherapy’ by Hayley Mercer of Handicap International.

T-shirts were also made to mark the day featuring the ‘Movement for Health’ logo, these were worn during a march by a group of physical therapists.
