World Physical Therapy Day 2009 activities - Ecuador

The Federacion Ecuatoriana De Fisoterepia (FEF) highlighted World Physical Therapy Day through the publication of a message from WCPT’s South America Region’s Executive Committee on its website.

Embracing the ‘Movement for Health’ theme, the message drew attention to the impact physical therapists can have on the quality of life and health of the population. It also focused on the importance of the profession developing and implementing health policies related to physical activity and movement, as well as advancing the empowerment of the physical therapist’s role and its impact on the health of the regional population.
