Biography

Lecturer at all three Western Cape Universities and also works in Private Practice Ina qualified at the University of Stellenbosch in 1974 and graduated with her PhD (research in the field of chronic headaches) in 2003 from the University of the Western Cape. She has been in private practice for 27 years and started teaching undergraduates in 1990. Since 2003 she has been involved with the orthopaedic manual therapy modules of masters degrees at all three Western Cape Universities and a study leader for many post-graduate students in the field. She is actively involved in the South African Society of Physiotherapy, currently being the Chair of the Quality Improvement Portfolio and a member of the Standards Generating Body and Continuing Professional Development Committee. She has published several academic papers and non-academic articles and has presented papers at many National and International conferences. She has been invited to present courses at the last three WCPT Africa Congresses.
