Biography

Rob Herbert PhD, MAppSc(ExSpSc), BAppSc(Physio) Associate Professor, The George Institute for International Health Rob Herbert is a director of the Centre for Evidence-Based Physiotherapy. The Centre is internationally recognised for producing the PEDro database of randomised trials, systematic reviews and practice guidelines in physiotherapy. One strand of his research has examined the effectiveness of physiotherapy interventions. Another strand examines mechanical properties of human muscles and tendons in vivo. Rob has co-authored a textbook on evidence-based physiotherapy.
