Biography
Dr. Lucie Brosseau (Ph.D.) is a physiotherapist and a Professor at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Ottawa, Canada. In 1996, she also obtained a Ph.D. in Public Health with a specialization in Epidemiology (Université de Montréal). She is an epidemiologist in the field of rehabilitation. Dr. Brosseau is currently a University Research Chair (former Ontario Ministry of Health Career Scientist). She is a researcher in Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and Knowledge Translation (KT) in physical rehabilitation. Her main expertise is developing and implementing the Ottawa Panel Clinical Practice Guidelines and conducting randomized clinical controlled trials in the field of physical rehabilitation. Dr. Brosseau has published a total of 80 peer-reviewed scientific papers, including 21 Cochrane systematic reviews and 9 special issues on the Ottawa Panel Clinical Practice Guidelines published in Physical Therapy. She has obtained several international and national research grants.
