Biography

Jeanette Praestegaard, PT, MSc., Senior Lecturer.

Jeanette Praestegaard has been on the physiotherapy faculty for 13 years, and is senior lecturer and Program Manager at the Centre for Interconnected Social and Health Care at Metropolitan University College of Copenhagen in Denmark. She is a graduate and Ph.D. student at the University of Lund in Sweden, and anticipates completing her Ph.D. (The ethical dimension in Physiotherapy clinical practice and reasoning) in 2010.  Jeanette has given numerous presentations about ethics within the Danish Healthcare sector. She is a member of the ethical committee of Association of Danish Physiotherapists. She is also the author of research articles and book chapters, and has presented at national and international conferences on ethics.
