Biography

Adriaan is a physiotherapist from South Africa, now based in Kansas City, USA. He is a manual therapist and Adjunct Faculty at Rockhurst University, Kansas City. His special interest is in teaching spinal surgeons, and spinal surgery patients, about the biological processes that occur during and after surgery. His research into this area forms the basis for his PhD. Adriaan spends a large amount of time teaching physical therapists and rehabilitation clinicians about pre-surgical and post-surgical education.
