World Physical Therapy Day 2010 activities - New Zealand

Logo

Physiotherapy New Zealand members celebrated World Physiotherapy Day under the theme of Movement for Health in various ways throughout the country.  Download a pdf document highlighting some of the celebrations.

In an issued press release Gill Stotter, President of Physiotherapy New Zealand, said “We’re the experts in rehabilitation who get people moving and keep them moving. Activity is proven to be key to good health – but it must be introduced very carefully if a person is unfit, older, or has a long-term disease or disability.”

The full press release may be viewed on the Physiotherapy New Zealand website.
