The Convention on the Rights of the Child incorporates the full range of human rights: civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of all children.

The World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) endorses the Convention on the Rights of the Child and encourages its Member Organisations to promote its implementation and monitoring.

 

Date adopted:

Endorsed by the 13th General Meeting of WCPT June 1995.

Reviewed in 2007 in light of the amendment to Article 43 approved by the UN in 2002.  

Endorsement re-affirmed at the 16th General Meeting of WCPT June 2007.

Date for review:

Dependent on monitoring of UN updates.
