Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Outcome Measures DatabaseThe aim of the database is to enable physical therapists to see the range of measures available, and facilitate selection of the most appropriate ones for their needs. Though it contains over 200 measures the database is not exhaustive. The measures included are not being recommended by the CSP. The aim is to provide a resource of measures that may be of use to members of the CSP. Users still have to decide if the measure is appropriate for their needs. Each record gives a brief description of the measure and provides specific information on: original reference, scientific properties of the measure, and practical considerations: costs for use, training required, time to administer, patient population, location for use, and information on costs and distribution. It is freely accessible.
