WCPT Network for ICF

The WCPT Network for ICF is a group of physiotherapists who have an interest in using the World Health Organization's International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) as a framework and classification for information on human functioning.

The goal of the Network is to raise the profile of the ICF amongst WCPT Member Organisations and gain greater use of the ICF by physiotherapists.

The Network will operate through a web based discussion forum.  The forum will be a single point of contact on the internet that enables people or organisations to share ideas, resources and materials to achieve a common goal.

The discussion forum will enable:

• Discussion of issues of common interest
• Working together on a particular document
• Gather information on projects that are being undertaken around the world
• Share information on current and planned projects
• Gather information on educational materials that have been developed
• Review materials
• Disseminate materials as requested

Members of the Network will have an opportunity to meet face-to-face at the WCPT Congress in June 2007.  Watch this space for more information.
