The WCPT Secretariat, led by the WCPT Secretary General, is a team of full- and part-time workers employed by WCPT to implement the decisions made at the WCPT General Meeting and act on the direction of the WCPT Executive Committee.
Brenda J Myers, Secretary General
Brenda Myers has been Secretary General of WCPT since 1995. She has visited many of WCPT’s member organisations across all regions and has seen the positive impact of a united international voice expressed through an international organisation and the benefits of partnerships and dialogue across geographic, cultural and political boundaries.
Tracy Bury, Director of Professional Policy
Tracy Bury leads on policy development and implementation covering practice, education, professional and social issues. She is the main contact for WCPT subgroups and networks. She also leads on all aspects of planning and delivering the WCPT Congress.
Simon Crompton, Communications Consultant
Simon advises on WCPT communications issues, and produces news, information and WCPT publications such as WCPT News. www.simoncrompton.com
Titi Ige, Accounts and Finance Officer
Titi provides support for financial matters relating to WCPT and its congress.
Mia Lockner, Communications and Office Manager
Mia is responsible for general communications including WCPT E-Update, social media and World Physical Therapy Day. She manages the marketing plan for the WCPT Congress.
Dan Moore, Website and IT
Dan is responsible for website development, database management and provides information technology support for the WCPT Secretariat. www.rivermede.co.uk
Rachel Moore, Project Manager and Membership Coordinator
Rachel is responsible for the WCPT website, information technology and membership, as well as logistics to support the WCPT Congress scientific programme.
Catherine Sykes, Professional Policy Consultant
Catherine’s areas of responsibility include the ICF, data projects and projects with WHO and other international organisations. Catherine works on all aspects of the WCPT Congress scientific programme.
Esther Bright, Executive PA
Esther provides administrative support to the Secretary General and Director of Professional Policy including coordination of Executive Committee and other meetings.
