The visit to the Sports Science Institute will include a talk by one of the physiotherapists (Theo Calligeris, MPhil (Sports Physiotherapy)) covering treatment and rehabilitation techniques. Physiotherapist, Dr Janine Gray, will discuss current sports medicine and sports physiotherapy research at the institute, which will include a demonstration of research done in our biomechanics laboratory. Biokinetist Justin Durandt (who runs the High Performance Centre) will discuss return-to-sport considerations following injury. A tour of the facilities (SSISA) will also be included.
