
Ina Diener is a Physiotherapy Clinician and Part-time Lecturer. Ina was born and bred in South Africa and lives and practises in Stellenbosch. She qualified at the University of Stellenbosch and graduated with her PhD [research in the field of chronic headaches], from the University of the Western Cape. She started teaching undergraduates in 1990. Since 2003 she has been involved with the orthopaedic manual therapy modules of masters degrees at Stellenbosch University and the University of the Western Cape, and a study leader for many post-graduate students in the field. Her main clinical field of interest is musculoskeletal pain, and pain science education of these patients. She frequently lectures and present courses at national and international level, including many African countries. She is currently the President of the South African Society of Physiotherapy.
