Szeto, Grace

Dr Grace Szeto is Associate Professor at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her area of expertise lies in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Ergonomics. She has conducted research on the occupational work demands and musculoskeletal disorders among different occupational groups including office workers, bus drivers, nurses, and doctors. She was the chairperson of the Occupational Safety, Health & Rehabilitation Specialty Group in the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association in 2008-2012, and currently the Honorary Advisor for this group. She has conducted workshops for physiotherapists on ergonomic interventions for office workers in Hong Kong and Malaysia. Currently, her research projects include (1) developing an Ergomotor intervention program for work-related neck and shoulder pain, (2) the association between biomechanical factors and neck pain in smartphone users.
