
Mrs Coulibaly Aminata Bamba, graduated from Ecole Supérieure de santé du Mali (ESS) as a registered nurse in June 1983, and from school of Physiotherapy of Bamako in 1990 as Physiotherapist. In 1995, she obtain a medical gymnastics certificate. From 1996 to 2004, she did a series of theoretical and practical training on the management of Cerebral palsy (Bobath method).
In 2001, she obtain a Certificate in Management of stroke in Burkina Faso.
Currently, she is a physiotherapist at the reference health centre of commune 3 of the district of Bamako.
She is the president of the Malian PT association (AKIMA) since 2005, under her leadership, AkIMA has actively participated in the SUDA project , a partnership between HI and WCPT funded by USAID, that aims at professionalizing and strengthening the rehabilitation sector in Senegal, Mali and Niger.
