
Wilma Erasmus qualified as physiotherapist in 1982 from University of Pretoria, South Africa and obtained her MSc PT from WITS in 2013. She started her own private physiotherapy practice in Witbank in 1987 and is still the owner of Erasmus Physiotherapy Inc. She is a quest lecturer at WITS University since 2013 and has lectured post graduate courses in practice management and ethics since 1997 in South Africa and Namibia and respiratory post graduate course since 2015. She has been actively involved in the affairs of the South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP) in various key portfolios since 1995 up to 2016 i.e. SASP President, Chairman of the Private Sector of the SASP (PhysioFocus) and currently the PhysioFocus Liaison Officer. She did a poster presented of her master dissertation at WCPT 2015 in Singapore· She has been an abstract reviewer for IFOMPT congress 2012, Quebec, Canada; 2016 Glasgow as well as for WCPT congress 2015. She is the current chairman of IPPTA and has served on this committee since 2008. Success is not measured how successful you are, but how successful you made others.
