
Mohammad A. Mohseni Bandpei (PhD, PT) is a Professor of Physiotherapy at University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, Tehran, Iran and also a Visiting Professor at University of Lahore, Lahore, Pakistan. He received a BSc, in 1989, an MSc, in 1993 from Iran and completed his Ph.D. at University of East Anglia, Norwich, England in 2001. He has given numerous invited talks and workshops at different national and international conferences and has published many research papers in peered-reviewed journals, several books, etc. He has been awarded many scholarships and grants from different national and international organizations and was involved in supervising several MSc and PhD dissertations. Mohammad has lectured nationally and internationally on different Physiotherapy subjects and his research interests are Pain mainly lower back and neck pain, Sports Injuries, Ultrasound, Electromyography, Randomized Controlled Trial, and Systematic Reviews. On October 2015, he was elected as the President of Iranian Physiotherapy Association, making every effort with the help of Board of Physiotherapy, to improve the educational level and clinical performance of Iranian Physiotherapists. He has been frequently invited by different national TV channels and other social medias to speak and advise public on the role of physiotherapy in community.
