Jovita Ada Daniel. BMR(PT), MSc., PhD.

A Chief Physiotherapist and Unit Head of the Women's Health and Fitness Unit of the Physiotherapy Dept of the Federal Medical Centre Owerri, Nigeria. Dr. Jovita earned her bachelors degree in Medical Rehabilitation (PT) from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, her MSc. in Exercise and Sports Science from Bayero University Kano and her PhD also in Exercise and Sports Science, from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, all in Nigeria. A clinician for over 18 years, Dr. Jovita has conducted researches and published papers in both local and international journals of high repute. Her works are mainly in the area of women's health and pediatrics physiotherapy. She is an MRTB approved workshop resource person in the area of women's health and has given many workshops an seminars both locally and at international conferences including WCPT Conferences (Amsterdam, 2011, Singapore 2015) and APTA Combined Section Meeting (San Antonio, February, 2017).
She is presently, the National Chairperson and Coordinator of the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy in Women's Health, the State Chairperson of NSP Imo State  Chapter, the Nigeria Chief delegate at the international Orga isation of Physiotherapists in Women's Health (IOPTWH). Happily married and blessed with children.
