Abbott, Haxby

Associate Professor Haxby Abbott is musculoskeletal physiotherapist: his research focuses on interventions for hip and knee osteoarthritis, and the measurement properties of clinical outcome measures, clinical examination and prognosis in musculoskeletal conditions. He has conducted several randomized clinical trials and cohort studies, including several on both self-reported outcome measures and physical performance tests. Dr Abbott is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT).
