Staff team

The WCPT Secretariat, led by the WCPT Chief Executive Officer, is a team of full- and part-time workers employed by WCPT to implement the decisions made at the WCPT General Meeting and act on the direction of the WCPT Executive Board.

Chief Executive Officer

Jonathon is responsible for management and administration of the WCPT. He is responsible for the implementation of the strategic plan to ensure that WCPT achieves its objectives as determined by the Executive Board and member organisations.

Tracy BuryTracy Bury
Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Tracy leads on policy development and implementation covering practice, education, professional and social issues.  She is the main contact for WCPT subgroups and networks. She also leads on all aspects of planning and delivering the WCPT Congress.

Tony CheesemanTony Cheeseman
Head of Finance

Tony is responsible for the financial management and administration of the WCPT. He provides financial guidance and support to the Secretariat and relevant committees, to ensure good levels of governance and statutory compliance.

Pablo Davó Cabra Pablo Davó Cabra
Professional Adviser

Pablo is responsible for providing advice to WCPT staff, Board, members and external stakeholders on a range of professional matters relating to physical therapy education and practice. He is responsible for developing and managing a number of projects in line with WCPT’s strategic plan. These include the WCPT Accreditation service, Country profile data collection and database of volunteers and experts.

Head of Programmes and Development

Sidy is responsible for programme development and management. He leads on project design, implementation, and monitoring in collaboration with partner institutions.

Rachael Hughes Rachael Hughes
Project Support Officer

Rachael provides support on WCPT projects, to the secretariat and executive board.

Accounts and Finance Officer

Titi provides support for financial matters relating to WCPT and its congress.

Natasha JoynerNatasha Joyner
Congress Manager

Natasha leads on project planning for the WCPT Congress and related events. This includes managing venue logistics, ceremonies and exhibition services.

Mia LocknerMia Lockner
Communications and Office Manager

Mia is responsible for general communications including WCPT E-Update, social media and World Physical Therapy Day. She manages the marketing plan for the WCPT Congress.

Dan MooreDan Moore
IT Manager

Dan is responsible for the management of all technical business information systems, including the website, membership database and systems to support the WCPT Congress scientific programme.

Rachel MooreRachel Moore
Membership Manager 

Rachel coordinates the work of the WCPT Membership Committee, advising organisations working towards membership of WCPT and supporting them through the application process. Rachel also works with existing member organisations to ensure they continue to meet the requirements of WCPT membership and to access appropriate support and mentoring as and when required.  In addition to her membership work, Rachel is also responsible for the logistics to support the WCPT Congress scientific programme and speaker management.

Birgit Mueller WinklerBirgit Mueller-Winkler
Senior Professional Adviser

Birgit is supporting the WCPT Congress Programme Committee (CPC) which develops the scientific programme for WCPT Congress. She also works on policy projects and is the staff support to the consultant undertaking the project to develop regulations and operationalise the new constitution.

Head of Marketing and Communications

Freya is responsible for the development and delivery of marketing and communications on all WCPT activities.
