Jessica graduated from the DPT program at the University of Melbourne in 2013. Jessica is the co-chair of WCPTFuture, a recent global initiative of the World Confederation of Physical Therapy for students and early career professionals. She is the former chair of the national student network for the APA. Since graduating she has worked in a major tertiary hospital in Melbourne, and now in private practice as well as taking up a recent teaching role at the University of Melbourne.
Jessica has a keen interest in global health and prior to completing her physio degree, had spent extensive time working in various projects overseas in Africa and South America, and completed an internship with the Malawi Embassy at the UN. She continues to pursue this area of interest in global health through her involvement in project work with the Universitas 21 where she has lead the development of The Global Learning Partnership, a project for interprofessional and international student electives in developing countries.
Jessica is passionate about working towards the development of "borderless" Physiotherapy practice.
