Witness Mudzi is a Professor and Director in the Postgraduate School at the University of the Free State in South Africa. The main function of the Postgraduate School is to direct postgraduate academic policy development, support postgraduate students and enhance their research capacity development to enable them to obtain their degrees within the allowed time frames. He has a BSc (Hon) from the University of Zimbabwe and an MSc and PhD from the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa). He is currently the President of the South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP). His research interests include: Adult Neurology (which include stroke and spinal cord injuries) with the main area of interest being quality of life and factors influencing postgraduate studies success. He believes that our education system should equip graduates with the skills needed to succeed in the current working environment. He has presented at many local and international conferences including at previous WCPT Congresses.
