Dipika Shah had been working as the Incharge of Department of Paediatric Physiotherapy at CHARUSAT University, since the last 5 years. She has been awarded "Best Faculty" in the category of research and teaching by CHARUSAT University 4 times. She has undertaken various awareness programs in the community regarding the importance of physiotherapy in paediatric conditions. She has been a National level panel member for the paralympic sports participant scrutinization. Her research areas include physical activity and disability, childhood obesity and gait kinematics. She completed her master's in physiotherapy in Neuro - Paediatrics from Manipal Univerity, India and PhD in 2018 with the research focus on childhood obesity. She has been invited as a speaker by various institutes of national and international repute on topics such as Physiotherapy in NICU, physical activity promotion in children, scope of physiotherapy in paediatrics, emerging trends in the management of Non-communicable diseases. Her research papers have been published in international journals. She has presented her research work at global level such as WCPT, Singapore and Canadian Obesity Network, Canada.
