Theresa (Tracy) Monaco Spitznagle PT DPT MHS WCS a Professor in the Program in Physical Therapy and OB-Gyn at Washington University School of Medicine. She has been practicing Physical Therapy utilizing the examinations and treatment strategies based on movement since 1987. She is the first at Washington University to apply movement concepts to pelvic floor, abdominal and pelvic pain conditions. Professional contributions include: Participation in the MAPP Research Network, Board Member of the Global Women’s Health Initiative, the World Wide Fistula Fund, and Chair of the Section on Women’s Health (SOWH) Diagnosis Dialog Committee. Past Chair for the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. 2011 SOWH Elizabeth Noble Award and 2018 APTA Humanitarian Award.
