Cornelia Betschart Meier, MD, completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006. For her subspecialty training in Urogynecology she did a Research Fellowship from 2011-2013 at the University of Michigan (John DeLancey). She is a board-certified Urogynecologist since 2016 and vice-president of the Swiss Urogynecological Association. Since 2008 she works as a Gynecologist at the University of Zurich and is co-responsible for the Urogynecology Department in the function of Assistant Professor and Lecturer. Since 2009 she is member of the Cantonal Ethics Committee Zurich. Her research interests include pelvic floor anatomy and imaging in preventing POP and phytotherapeutical clinical studies for hyperactive bladder disorders.
