Prof. Felipe Reis is a Brazilian Physiotherapist who graduated from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1999). He has received his Masters and Doctoral degrees in Medical Science from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Currently, he is a Professor at the Instituto Federal do Rio de Janeiro. In the last years, he has developed studies in Neuroscience of pain, emotion and cognition. He coordinates an international research group (Pesquisa em Dor) to develop and spread Pain Education strategies for adults and children. He works as a visiting researcher at McGill University and associated researcher in the Pain in Motion International Research Group. Since 2018, he is the Chair of the IASP Special Interest Group Pain, Mind and Movement.
