Johanne Eliacin has a Bachelor degree in Physical Therapy, graduated in January 2007 at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre Maestra University in the Dominican Republic

For 2 years, she worked at a Haitian NGO’s as a Physical Therapist, gives introductory courses in Physical Therapist to medical students at a University of Haiti. She also volunteered at a Center for children with disabilities. After the earthquake in 2010, she worked at Doctors without Borders as Physical Therapist Service Manager. From 2012 to 2016 she worked at Humanity & Inclusion as a trainer for rehabilitation technicians

She is the vice-president of the Haitian Physical Therapy Society (SoHaPh) Since October 17 2015. She is also the project coordinator of a project SoHaPh have with Christian Blind Mission (CBM). Johanne represent Haiti in NACR in May 2016 and April 2018

Her job is to promote physiotherapy in Haiti. She meets influential personalities in Haiti to present the importance of physical Therapy in health. In 2017, she presented the situation of physiotherapy in Haiti at the symposium of the 20th anniversary of HVO in Washington. SHP is collaborating with HVO to strengthening the national physical therapy organization
