Bio
Andrew founded Connect Health in 1989 with the aim of providing the highest level of care to people with musculoskeletal (MSK) problems. Connect Health is now the largest, specialised independent provider of community MSK services (including orthopaedics, pain and rheumatology) in the UK, serving over 300k NHS patients pa and over 100 corporates. Andrew recognises that investment in supporting infrastructure and data is key to reduce clinical variation and inefficiencies in the system, enhancing outcomes for taxpayers, commissioners and staff. By using technology to improve visibility of personal and service performance, Andrew has been delighted at the resulting transformation of clinician behaviour and practice. A passionate believer in the value of effective physiotherapy practice, he is a driving force for innovation and change, both within Connect and externally through routes such as #TheBigRs, demonstrating perseverance and leadership in a challenging market. In 2016, Andrew became a Visiting Professor of Leeds Beckett University
