Ann Green FCSP, MSc, FHEA, HCPC Head of Life Sciences, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Coventry University, UK. Ann is a Fellow of the CSP, awarded for contribution to education, research and policy. For the majority her career Ann has worked in higher education and has developed physiotherapy programmes in the UK and internationally. She has been active within professional accreditation, educational policy and worked for the UK health regulator, HCPC, in programme approval and international registration. Ann’s research spans 20 years. Her earliest publication was about admission and progression trends in undergraduate programmes and recent publications relate to postgraduate physiotherapy education, development of the individual, the profession and their career. She has been invited to speak internationally on advancing physiotherapy practice. Her current research with an international team, is on social media and its role in global physiotherapy professional networks. Ann was the co-founders of the Big Physio Survey, an open access resource, enabling physiotherapists globally to share case studies online, forming a global repository to showcase our rich and diverse profession.
