Rebecca L. Craik, PT, PhD, FAPTA is the Dean of the College of Health Sciences and prior Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy at Arcadia University located in Pennsylvania. She is Editor Emerita of Physical Therapy, the official publication of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her research interests focus on the motor control, aging, and recovery. Research support has included the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, and Foundation for Physical Therapy. Dr. Craik served as co-chair for a Blue Ribbon Panel on Rehabilitation Research at the NIH; the report lead to the development of a 5-year NIH Plan for Rehabilitation Research (2016-2022). She has received numerous awards and honors including the Distinguished Alumni Award from Duke University Department of Physical Therapy; APTA’s highest award, the Mary McMillan Lecture Award; and Professor of the Year at Arcadia University.
