IOPTWH involvement at WCPT Congress 2017
The IOPTWH executive officers are looking forward to the Organization’s involvement at WCPT Congress in July; just a few months away! Further details and regular updates on the programme are available at http://www.wcpt.org/congress including a provisional programme.
Please note that this is still subject to change so – with the exception of the pre-Congress course - the dates might alter. The final programme will be confirmed in April.
|1st July||Pre-Congress course: Pregnancy-related low back and pelvic girdle pain: evidence-based physiotherapy practice. This course was submitted by IOPTWH in collaboration with the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT). It will proceed subject to a sufficient number of applications.|
|2nd July||‘Focus on’ seminar: Pelvic floor assessment and treatment proposed by the IOPTWH executive committee and hosted by IOPTWH president Gill Brook.|
|3rd July||Focused symposium: Motor control in paediatric bladder and bowel dysfunction submitted jointly by IOPTWH and the International Organisation of Physical Therapists in Paediatrics.|
|4th July||‘Focus on’ seminar: Bone health and fall prevention proposed by the IOPTWH executive committee and chaired by IOPTWH executive oficer Robyn Willcock|
|Networking session for women’s health and pelvic physiotherapists, hosted by IOPTWH & chaired by Gill Brook|
In addition, IOPTWH is planning a social gathering one evening, plus a meeting for any of our delegates who are at the Congress.
We do hope to see you there!
