New perspectives on physical therapy in HIV/AIDS

- To share the latest research on the management of HIV/AIDS, across the lifespan and across all regions of the world.
HIV/AIDS has been around for thirty years and in that time has moved from being a terminal disease to a chronic and episodic condition. Now that people are living with HIV/AIDS different approaches by physical therapists are required. The panel will consider the impact of the disease and methods of management, including how physical therapists should educate and be educated about the disease and its associated disability across the lifespan.
