Cameron Greenland graduated with a bachelor in physiotherapy from the University of Queensland and works as the acute cardiorespiratory senior at Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital. In his role as Simulation Coordinator & facilitator at SLiPAH (Simulated Learning in Paediatrics for Allied Health), Cameron has been a vital part in establishing simulation as a modality for educating across a spectrum of learning needs in physiotherapy. He has provided his simulation expertise in education and training for physiotherapy & AH students at 6 universities across the state of QLD, and workforce training at multiple hospitals including discipline-specific and interprofessional training. Using simulation as an education tool, Cameron has developed & delivered scenarios for upskilling, skill maintenance, & competency requirements, as well as providing valuable clinical experience to fulfil university curriculum requirements. To augment this simulated learning experience, Cameron has developed electronic packages including eLearning modules, visual and cognitive aids. His most recent presentation at AHPOQ (Allied Health Professional Office of Queensland) focused on the education theory behind simulation.
