World Physiotherapy staff make site visit to Tokyo

World Physiotherapy staff recently made a site visit to Tokyo, Japan, as part of the preparations for our congress in 2025 in the city.

The World Physiotherapy team comprised Jonathon Kruger, chief executive officer, Allegra Roccato, head of events, and Birgit Mueller-Winkler, policy manager. During the site visit, 25-28 September 2023, the team held meetings with representatives of Japan Physical Therapy Association (JPTA), local suppliers, hotels, and potential clinical visit providers.

Discussions also took place around roles and responsibilities to help clarify working relationships between the World Physiotherapy congress team and JPTA.
